Before Rolex introduced its 2023 updates to the Daytona collection, the Panda Daytona had already secured its place as one of the most desirable watches on the market. In our view, the release of the reference 126500LN didn’t reinvent the model — it perfected it.

Rolex chose to refine rather than transform, subtly enhancing the proportions with a slightly slimmer 40mm stainless steel case, while preserving everything that makes the Daytona instantly recognizable. The combination of the Oyster bracelet, Triplock crown, and black Cerachrom bezel remains, in our opinion, one of the most balanced and versatile configurations available today.

The dial stays true to the iconic “Panda” aesthetic, with its three subdials framed by black rings, contrasted by polished white gold hands and applied hour markers filled with luminescent material. The result is both highly legible and unmistakably elegant.

Inside, the new-generation caliber 4131 brings a welcome evolution. While maintaining a 72-hour power reserve, it offers more refined finishing and subtle technical improvements over the previous 4130 — details that, from our perspective, reinforce the overall sense of quality and modernity.
